What in the world has gotten into you? It's like the moment you left Philadelphia to go to school in Boston, you completely forgot about me - your mother. I know your life is nice and cozy now, especially having your dad out there supporting you, but I've been here since day one. I came out to see you for your birthday in hopes we could patch things up, but obviously I'm just a burden to you now.
I don't care how we left things off. You and I both said some hurtful things, but I would like to think that our relationship is important enough that we work on things and grow from it.
So, when you are ready to be an adult and talk to your mother, you know my number.
I know we left things off in a bad way, but it'd be nice for you to explain why you disappeared.
I also know I'm not your favorite person, but I am your mother and I think a simple text is not asking much.
If you were wondering, I did get home all right. I would like to know that you're okay too.
Morning!
I was wondering if you could do another favor for me? I'm looking to get in contact with any professor from the AeroAstro program at MIT as I am quite interested in studying Astronautical Engineering for my Master's degree. I stumbled upon Dr. Carlisle's resume and it's out of this world (pun intended).
Do you think it would be too much just to have an informal chat during lunch with all three of us?

She has a wicked sense of humour and one of the most popular professors in the AeroAstro program. While I don't doubt you're a guaranteed acceptance, what is your current GPA looking like by the end of the semester?
I am second guessing some courses I picked for fall. I don't want to "punk" out, excuse the language, but it's important to me that I graduate with top honors. It isn't a pipe dream, is it?
Of course, I know you have goals for this semester and beyond, so it's important you keep them in mind for finals.
I am proud to say that graduating Cumma Sum Laude is very much possible, but I must stress that you need to finish strong this semester in order to keep on track.
You can do it!

I've noticed you stopped your recurring monthly appointments with Dr. Ambose. Were you interested in starting them back up again in May?
